In order to limit the spread of COVID-19 virus, it is recommended that drone operations be carried out in a way that limits the possibility of virus transmission between people.
Flying drones:
1. Disinfect your hands with a disinfectant before commencing aerial operations.
2. Before the first contact with the drone, disinfect its surface with a disinfectant or a cloth soaked in soapy water. Take care not to flood places not resistant to moisture.
3. After landing and before returning the drone to the warehouse, disinfect your hands and the surface of the drone again.
The above applies especially to operators, where many pilots use one equipment.
Recommendations regarding the training process:
- Theoretical training should be conducted only in the form of e-learning or distance learning (webinars).
- It is recommended that practical ground based be implemented by means of distane-learning on a platform enabling interaction with the student: two-way conversation and image transmission from the camera and screen sharing.
- Practical training should be conducted in accordance with the following principles:
- Maintaining a minimum distance of 1 meter from the student
- Before starting the training, the trainee should disinfect their hands with a disinfectant or by washing their hands with soap and water for not less than 20 seconds
- Apparatus and other elements (parts of the drone) that are in contact with the student should be disinfected before and after each student. Remember not to shake hands.
